Please take a look at some of our featured merchandise below.

We are currently featuring beaded items for sale from the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde related to our new exhibit. For pricing information please contact us at 503-657-9336.

Beaded items information: Many of the beaded necklaces include a variety of materials traditionally used by Tribes and contemporary elements. The shell in the necklaces is dentalium. The dentalium is found in the ocean, including sites along the west coast. In the past, the dentalium was used as Indian money. Tribal people would have marks on their arms for measuring lengths of the stringed dentalium. These lengths had a certain value as well as the size of the dentalium. They are often found in necklaces and traditional clothing attire of local tribal people. A variety of beads are used including old trade beads that are prized by the Tribes.

SCHOOL and GROUPS: If you plan on ordering ahead of your visit, please note the PLU # and price of each item you would like to purchase. Please contact us to order or for more information here or call 503-657-9336.
