Oregon Trail Jeopardy Game template for PowerPoint.

Instructions for Game:

•         Divide students into two or more teams and designate someone to keep score.

•         Teams should take turns in selecting their questions. When it is their turn a team should pick a category and a point value (i.e. Dates for 4pts) then only that team can answer. If they answer correctly they get another turn, but if they answer incorrectly the other teams have the opportunity to answer the question and earn the points.

•         There are two Daily Double questions; if they are answered correctly the team earns double points.

•         If there is a question that none of the teams can answer correctly then no points are awarded for that question. After this happens, the game will continue, beginning with the team whose turn is next.

•         Once all 25 questions have been answered the game is over and the team with the most points wins.

 

Notes to run the show:

·         Program requirements: Microsoft PowerPoint 2003.

·         To open a question, click on the point value, not just on the blue square.

·         When on the answer slides click specifically on the home button or move the mouse toward it. If you click on another part of the slide the game will not work properly.
